Swiss rider Noah Dettwiler has shown significant improvement in his health condition following a serious accident during the reconnaissance lap of the Malaysian Moto3 Grand Prix. His team, CIP Moto, confirmed that the 20-year-old has moved from critical to stable condition, though he will remain in the intensive care unit. 'Noah's condition is stable and no longer life-threatening,' the team stated in a press release. The accident occurred when Dettwiler's bike suffered a technical failure during the reconnaissance lap and was hit at high speed by the KTM Ajo of Spanish rider José Antonio Rueda. Both riders were urgently airlifted to local hospitals. Dettwiler underwent multiple surgeries in the hours following the impact, while Rueda, who suffered a concussion and a fracture in his right hand, is also recovering and may be transferred to Spain for further treatment. 'Thank you all for your continuous support and kindness,' the team expressed. Red Bull KTM Ajo team also notified that after repeating all the tests performed last Sunday, they can confirm that the condition of the Spanish rider continues to improve. Additionally, they sent a message of support to Dettwiler: 'We send all our support to Noah Dettwiler, as well as his family and friends, during his recovery process. We hope to see them soon'.
