The national team of the UAE in motorcycle racing participates in the Asian championship for motorcycle racing on the track in Malaysia. Along with Mukhammed Motiukhi, four more athletes are also competing: Ahmed Al-Mansouri, Abdullah Al-Khamadi, Youssef Amiri, and Youssef Mibklya.
Mukhammed Motiukhi won the silver medal in the individual race in the under 23 category in this competition. This success marked his new Asian achievement after he had already secured victory in the individual race at the Asian championship for road motorcycle racing in Thailand.
This is the second consecutive success for the athlete, who repeated his victory in the same discipline as last year, and came in second place after the world and Asian champion – the Japanese Kubaki, who became the holder of the gold medal.
