On Sunday, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission announced that former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob was exposed.

He added that his exclusivity violated sales and procurement laws related to the preliminary context.

"These actions violate the prohibition on corruption in the procurement sector, established by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Act of 1987, which is the main legal act in this area," the committee's statement cites.

Previously, the Attorney General of Malaysia noted that there had been a noticeable violation of the principle of transparency and accountability in the procurement of goods and services.
