In an email response to inquiries on Tuesday, the company said: 'There have been no reports of any direct threats to Petronas employees or assets, and operations continue as usual.' It added that it will take steps to protect its assets and ensure business continuity, and is coordinating with authorities to assess the situation and take precautionary measures. It is worth noting that Petronas has been awarded oil and gas exploration concessions in Abu Dhabi in recent years.
