Masdar, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, has signed a power purchase agreement to develop its first project in Malaysia: a 200-megawatt floating solar photovoltaic power station. The project will be implemented at the Sherah Dam in the state of Pahang. The total investment in the project is $208 million. The power station will provide electricity to approximately 100,000 homes. The project will be developed by a consortium of companies led by Masdar in cooperation with the Malaysian companies Seta Global and Teza Global. The power purchase agreement was signed with Malaysia's national utility company, Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
