Shares of Malaysia Airports are set to be delisted from the Malaysian stock exchange after February 19, following the completion of the acquisition process by a consortium led by the national sovereign wealth fund.

After the alliance under the guidance of the public fund "Khazana Nasional Bhd" completed the process of purchasing shares, the shares of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd will be removed from the Malaysian stock exchange after February 19. This was reported by Bursa Malaysia.

"We write to inform that following the close of the Offers today (February 9, 2022), Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad is no longer listed on the Official List of the Exchange with effect from February 9, 2022," says a statement from Bursa Malaysia.

After the completion of the process, which began at the end of October, the government investment fund changed the rules for the formalization of an open offer to purchase a package of shares of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd until February 3.
